The wrocław school of printmaking - 2015
Jacek Szewczyk (b. 1958) is a Professor of Art, Dean of Graphic and Media Art, and former Rector of The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wroclaw, Poland. In 1982, he received a Master of Fine Art degree with honour within the area of graphic design and printmaking at the same institution. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions, graphic and drawings competitions in Poland and abroad, often awarded with prizes and honours. His work in the collections of the National Museum in Wrocław, the Museum in Bydgoszcz, the National Library in Warsaw, the National Ossoliński Institute in Wrocław, the Cabinet of Prints at Polish Academy of Science in Cracow, the Boras Kunstmuseum(Sweden), the Norrbottens Lands Landstig - Lulea(Sweden), the Botkyrka,Lulea and Falun Kommun(Sweden), the Grafikens Hus Mariefred (Sweden) and private collections.
